The six business areas within the SIMON corporate group act both independently and jointly on the market. The company's in-house, cross-division tooling shop is a key factor in our success. The various types of production used in the corporate group result in a collection of manufacturing knowledge which is uniquely diverse: Tools are developed, constructed, maintained, and repaired as needed here for all processes. Modern eroding, milling, turning, and grinding machines, and powerful CAD workstations allow us to react quickly, flexibly, and with an eye toward quality to all internal and external customer needs. Our spectrum of services includes tool construction, prototyping, and manufacturing small series. “What should be produced? Which production machines will the series be implemented on?
How many production stages are necessary for the finished product? Our tool designers take all aspects into account when it comes to development with the latest CAD/CAM technology. For tool systems, all of the specialized knowledge about the many different production processes becomes especially important. Innovative solutions for products, for example those manufactured in six-stage cold extrusion presses, are a part of our specialists’ daily routine. The latest systems in the form of shopfloor management and a professional project management system accompany our tool orders from day one. State-of-the-art machinery is available for the implementation of our high-precision tools. First and foremost, however, it comes down to the employees who know how to use the machines professionally. In this manner, experience and specialized knowledge play a crucial role in the processing of many varieties of hard metal. No matter how the requirements imposed on us appear, the aim is to optimally provide adapted tools for production machines that offer maximum service life.

Since purchasing its own manufacturing facility several years ago, the SIMON toolmaking shop has been able to offer the best possible production conditions – including ideal work processes in climate-controlled facilities and new capacities. The shop's diverse range of knowledge is also available to any companies outside the corporate group that want to use this outstanding potential to secure a market advantage. Our customers expect us to provide service at the highest level of quality. To ensure we can do so, we believe it is important to consistently apply modern methods and structures for preventative error avoidance. We use highly precise measurement machinery for 3D scanning and calibration of our products.
Our factory uses a certified, process-oriented quality, environmental, and energy management system designed in accordance with the requirements of ISO 14001, ISO 50001, and the automotive-specific requirements of technical specification IATF 16949.
